Flight Path
there is inertia between ground and sky
both so potent & sprawling, cut
by these machines – the coming and
going.
living in the flight path is to accept
disruption as the routine, a shrieking
infant – the sounds of life; the
shrieking Airbus, the sounds of arrival,
punctuating what is already here and
what is eager to be welcomed warmly.
