Bonnie Demerjian: “A Lesson Not Taught in Supermarket School”

About the Author: Bonnie Demerjian writes from her island home in the Tongass National Forest in Southeast Alaska, a place that nourishes her writing. Her poetry has appeared in Unbroken Journal, Artemis, and Cirque, among others. She has also written four non-fiction books on the area’s human and natural history. When not writing, she is gardening, hiking, boating, birding, and watching the ever-changing ocean. She can be found on Facebook.
